What do you think of Verichip-ing people?

How do you feel about microchipping people for emergency response, infant tracking, medical history recognition, or asset tracking? What reason support this?
I agree, that microchipping is actually a good idea.
True, if someone got a hold of the technology to decrypt the tracking numbers, it could be damaging. However, most of these chips are passive until read by a scanner.
